Bagel Island, Hackney Wick

The development at Bagel Island consists of 4 mixed-use developments with 960sqm, 2,300sqm, 2,500sqm and 600sqm commercial space respectively. JAW were appointed by Aitch Group to provide EPCs for both the commercial and retail units. JAW were also appointed as the BREEAM Assessor for Post Construction Stage of the BREEAM Assessment, consulting with the client and contractor to ensure the development achieved the Very Good rating required.

164 - 196 Trundley's Road

This large project involves the construction of 189 residential units and over 2000m2 of commercial space, on a brownfield site.


JAW Sustainability provided a sustainability and energy reports for planning, developed a full energy and overheating strategy incorporating community heating and also provided BREEAM consultancy and reporting.

1 Frances Street, Woolwich

The proposed development at 1 Frances Street comprises a mixed use redevelopment comprising the refurbishment of an existing 208 m2 public house and new build development to provide a total of 19 residential units.

JAW Sustainability were appointed by Wilson & Partners to carry out SBEM and SAP analysis on the building and also to complete and overheating analysis of the new build units to ensure that the design mitigated the risk of summertime overheating.

Sheep Lane, Hackney

The development comprises three storeys of commercial space, including a basement, with 40 residential units over five storeys above. The commercial areas of

buildingare being delivered as shell and core.

 

There is a target rating for the building of Excellent and JAW Sustainability were appointed by Aitch Group to provide BREEAM assessment services and Part L compliance work to ensure that the requirements are delivered. We provided a construction stage energy strategy analysis including renewable energy feasibility and continue to provide BREEAM assessment and support. The project has just started on site.

Pratt Mews, Camden

The new build development comprises 2 commercial units and 8 residential units over 2 storeys.

 

JAW Sustainability were appointed by Hamilton Court to provide Code for Sustainable Homes assessment on the residential units, BREEAM assessment for the commercial units and energy strategy analysis and Part L compliance for the whole development.

115 Curtain Road, Shoreditch

The mixed-use development at 115 Curtain Road comprises 7 residential dwellings above a small retail unit.

 

JAW were appointed by Hamilton Court Developments to provide planning assistance to remove a legacy planning condition requiring a full Code for Sustainable Homes assessment by proposing an alternative more bespoke sustainability strategy. We also carried out energy modelling for the development to develop a suitable strategy to achieve the required energy performance and are continuing to provide Part L assistance through to project completion, due June 2017.

Ilderton Road

The development at Ilderton Road, Southwark, gained planning permission in December for 130 flats and 14 thousand sqft of commercial floor space. 

 

JAW were appointed by Aitch Group to provide an Energy Report and BREEAM Pre-Assesment. We worked closely with the design team to from RIBA Stage 1 to generate a tailored strategy in order to meet their BREEAM requirements for planning. We also completed both SAP and SBEM energy modelling to develop a suitable strategy in line with the London Plan.

168 High Street Egham

The development comprises of the refurbishment of a restaurant and 4 residential units above. JAW Sustainability were appointed by Wilson & Partners to provide the required energy assessments in order to achieve planning permission. We provided energy modelling for both the residential and commercial units.

The new build development comprises 2 adjacent sites with 42 and 44 residential units respectively over commercial space.

 

JAW Sustainability were appointed by Aitch Group to provide sustainability services including an energy strategy report and BREEAM Pre-assessment for each site to meet the sustainability requirements of the London Borough of Barnet and support the planning application.

16 Peckham Park Road

The development consists of a new block, containing 6 residential flats and a commercial unit on an existing industrial site. JAW Sustainability were appointed to provide a Sustainability Statement to support planning. We completed a Daylight Assessment, Flood Risk Assessment, SUDs Assessment and Air Quality Assessment to support the sustainability strategy.
