JAW Sustainability are a dynamic sustainability consultancy. We provide specialist sustainability support for construction and fit-out projects of all types through the planning stages to handover and occupation.
We are looking for a new Junior Sustainability Consultant to join our team and help us continue to deliver a high quality service to our clients. The role would suit an ambitious individual who could grow with the company.
The role of Junior Sustainability Consultant will include following:
Supporting in the preparation of sustainability and energy reports to accompany planning applications, including undertaking SAP calculations
Assist in the undertaking of BREEAM and SKA assessments including reviewing technical evidence for compliance and preparing progress reports to feedback to the design team
Providing advice to design teams on achieving compliance with sustainability requirements, including attendance at meetings
Working closely with the design team and contractors to achieve the anticipated credit compliance
Preparing good quality written reports for clients and certification bodies
Providing support with office administration and marketing, including online and social media
Required experience / skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject
Excellent communication skills
Highly analytical, with ability to review and understand technical information
Attention to detail
Proficient in use of MS Office, Excel in particular
Enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal skills
Beneficial experience:
Work experience related to sustainability in the built environment
Experience managing websites
Experience with adobe creative suite
