We did it!

We started the Brighton2Brussels charity bike ride last Thursday with a record 'Mile in the Sky' in the i360. Which basically saw the team cycling 40 laps each around the pod at 7 in the morning, quite a surreal experience!

From that point until arriving back in Brighton on Sunday the whole trip has been absolutely fantastic. The ride itself was an amazing experience, made enjoyable by the lovely personalities in the group and the beautiful Belgian countryside. And the evening stops in Brussels, Bruges and Lille provided a great opportunity to get to know my team mates better. I can honestly say I feel I've made some wonderful new friends and not just contacts in the industry. Huge thanks to Colin Brace, the other organisers and support team on the ride. And to everyone who had the good idea of bringing speakers with them. Riding along riverside cycle paths to the sounds of Queen, The Rolling Stones and Cyndi Lauper is definitely the way forward!

Also a massive thank you to everyone who has sponsored me, I really appreciate it. If you haven't yet but would like to, the link is here. Thanks again!

I'm so glad to have set myself the challenge, I'll be back next year!
