We are looking for a new Junior Sustainability Consultant to join our team and help us continue to deliver a high quality service to our clients. The role would suit an ambitious individual who could grow with the company.

 

The role of Junior Sustainability Consultant will include following:

  • Providing advice to design teams on achieving compliance with sustainability requirements, including attendance at meetings

  • Working closely with Contractors to provide support in achieving the required level of sustainability compliance on site

  • Preparing high quality written reports for clients and certification bodies

  • Providing support with office administration

  • Supporting in the preparation of sustainability and energy reports to accompany planning applications, including undertaking SAP calculations

  • Working towards providing assistance undertaking BREEAM assessments including reviewing technical evidence for compliance and preparing progress reports to feedback to the design team

 

Required experience / skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a subject related to the environment, sustainability or the built environment

  • Proficient in use of MS Office, Excel in particular

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Highly analytical, with ability to review and understand technical information

  • Attention to detail

  • Enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal skills

 

Beneficial experience:

  • Office administration experience

  • Work experience in the construction industry or a sustainability related role
