Austin Thomas

Austin joined JAW Sustainability in August 2023, after graduating from The University of West of England, Bristol with a BSC in Physical Geography.

Austin has always had a passion for both the natural and built environment throughout his educational studies. Austin developed his understanding and interest in the natural world whilst studying at university, where he completed multiple research based modules and field studies highlighting the relationship between the evolving built environment and the effects this has on the natural world.

Austin gained consultancy experience working with Green Technology startups in the USA that focused on innovation within the built environment. Thereafter, Austin realized the multi-faceted impacts that sustainability can have within the built environment which kindled his interest in beginning a career in the sustainability consultancy space.
