Senior Sustainability Consultant
Stratos became a member of JAW Sustainability in September 2021 after graduating from De Montfort University with masters in Energy and Sustainable Building Design.
Stratos's interest in sustainability was cultivated during his bachelor studies in Environmental engineering at Democritus University of Thrace in Greece. There he had completed a great variety of projects, and that helped him to discover his interest in sustainability in the built sector and that is why he decided to do his masters and pursue his career in the UK. His postgraduate studies have enhanced his knowledge and skills and that makes him suitable to be part of the JAW team.
Here at JAW, Stratos conducts energy modelling on commercial buildings to inform energy strategies for planning . He also uses dynamic thermal modelling of both residential and commercial buildings to inform overheating and thermal comfort analysis, for planning and BREEAM.
As well as this, he uses building modelling to conduct a range of other services at JAW, such as internal daylight assessments and external overshadowing assessments.
