Sustainability Consultant
Vaishnav graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2022 with a Master's degree in Climate Resilience and Environmental Sustainability in Architecture. During his studies, he specialized in building physics, embodied carbon calculations, renewable energy, and sustainable design techniques. His master's thesis, "Growing up with Biodiversity," explored the significant impact of biodiversity-infused architecture on children's personality development, using prestigious schools with outdoor-focused designs as case studies.
Prior to his master's, Vaishnav worked as an interior designer, gaining valuable insights that deepened his understanding of the critical need for environmentally friendly building approaches.
As a CIBSE Low Carbon Consultant in Building Design, Vaishnav brings over 3 years of experience in delivering sustainable building design solutions across a wide range of projects and design stages. He applies his expertise in energy modelling, sustainability assessments, and building performance analysis to support planning approvals, BREEAMcertifications, and low-carbon development strategies. His experience includes overheating assessments, energy assessments, supporting BREEAM assessments, and other sustainability-focused studies that help optimise building performance and environmental impact. Vaishnav has worked on diverse projects from early-stage concept design through to detailed design, ensuring sustainability principles are embedded throughout the development process. He is passionate about contributing to a more sustainable built environment and finds great satisfaction in helping create developments that are energy-efficient, resilient, and environmentally responsible.
