London commits to Net-Zero Carbon buildings by 2050!
Did you know… Buildings account for over half of the emissions generated in London? Yesterday London took a step towards reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by joining 18 other cities in the commitment to make new buildings Net-Zero Carbon by 2030. The London Mayor was one of 19 to sign the ‘Net Zero Carbon Buildings Declaration’ which has been driven by the organisation C40. The declaration aims to encourage all new buildings to be Net-Zero Carbon by reducing their energy
