Although SWMPs are no longer a legal obligation for UK construction projects, they are still an important requirement for any development undergoing a sustainability assessment such as BREEAM or LEED and may form part of the planning conditions for your project.

The production and implementation of a site specific SWMP will result in cost savings and environmental benefits due to improved material resource efficiency and waste minimisation through design actions, planning for on-site / off-site reuse and recycling.
