A new face at JAW
This week has been another very exciting week at JAW (and it is only Wednesday!). On Monday we started our week off by welcoming a new member to JAW! Here he is alongside some familiar faces! William will be joining us for the next 10 weeks after completing a Civil and Environmental Engineering degree at Imperial College London. We are really excited to work with Will and teach him all about what we do here at JAW!

A year at JAW!
On Wednesday we hosted our JAW Summer Drinks 2018 events, exactly 1 year on from our official launch party, fittingly held on the 4th of July! This got us thinking what an amazing year it has been for JAW! We continue to enjoy working with our amazing clients and are happy to be making new relationships and connections within the industry. We are very excited for what is to come!

JAW Summer Party 2018
The sun was shining and drinks flowing for the JAW Summer Drinks on Wednesday! Exactly a year on from our launch party in 2017 and WOW what a year it has been! We had a fantastic turn out and it was great to catch up with our clients, friends and colleagues and introduce them to our new JAW'er, Charlie. A big thank you to everyone who attended we had an amazing time and hope you did too! See you all next year!

What a load of Rubbish (from the construction industry)!
Did you know in 2016 the construction industry accounted for 60% of all materials used, 33% of waste and 45% of emissions generated in the UK? However, all scary statistics come hand in hand with an opportunity for change and in 2008 Site Waste Management Plans (SWMP) were introduced in a bid to reduce the amount of waste we are sending to landfill. SWMPs encourage all construction projects costing over £30’000 to record the volume of waste created and document it’s disposal.
